Courtland Howard, DVM Dr. Court Howard is 1967 graduate of Cornell School of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He received his Veterinary Degree from Cornell University and became a partner in 1971. His present duties include mostly large animal care, though he was involved in small animal care and surgery in past years. Professional affiliations include The American Association of Medical Socities. Court has been a board member of the Town of Richland since 1988. Dr. Howard and his wife MaryAnne, and their two labs Sonny and Murphy, reside on a farm in Pulaski, New York, where they raise replacement heifers. They have three children, Andrew, Matthew, and Elizabeth and two grandchildren, Christopher and Paul. |
Reid J. Oliver, DVM Dr. Oliver received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 1974 and his Veterinary Degree from Cornell in 1977. He has been with North Country Veterinary Services since graduating and is presently a partner. His responsibilities within the Practice include both large and small animal work, pretty much split evenly. Professional affiliations include membership in the Central New York Veterinary Medical Association (past President 1991 and Treasurer 1992-1997) and the New York State Veterinary Medical Society (Central New Yorks's regional representative 1998 to present). Outside interests include fishing, boating, collecting coins and old fishing lures, and spending time at the lake with family. Dr. Oliver and his wife, Sally, have 2 daughters, Molly and Abby and reside in Pulaski, New York. |

David Brooks, DVM David W. Brooks, DVM received his Bachelors Degree from Cornell University in 1979 and his DVM Degree from Cornell in 1983. He spent his first year in practice in Northern New Hampshire before coming to NCVS in 1984. Dr. Brooks enjoys both large and small animal medicine. He is usually found in the Pulaski Office seeing our small animal patients but also can be seen on the road with our large animal patients. Dr. Brooks and his wife Patty live in Mexico, New York and have 2 children, Sam and Jillian (deceased). |
Debra Windecker, DVM Dr. Debra Windecker was raised on a dairy farm in Herkimer County, New York where her interest in caring for animals began and grew. She is a 1979 graduate of Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and a 1983 graduate of Cornell's Veterinary School. She has been at the practice since graduation, recently becoming a partner. Dr. Windecker did a fair amount of bovine and equine work early in her career but has gravitated toward small animal medicine and surgery over time. She is mainly found in our Oswego Office but can occasionally find her way to Pulaski. Her interests include reading, hiking, golfing and dog training. She is an active member of Syracuse Obedience Training Club. She, her husband Steve, and their 2 Labrador Retrievers, Ezra & Perry live on a dairy farm in Palermo, New York. |
