Dr. Alexis Stambaugh grew up in the Hudson Valley, in a small town called Rhinebeck. She attended Cornell University for undergraduate studies as well as Veterinary School, graduating in 2009. Dr. Stambaugh works in both the Pulaski and Oswego clinics as well as large animal on the road. She enjoys all aspects of mixed animal practice but has a particular fondness for small animal surgery and working with alpacas and small ruminants.
Dr. Stambaugh was a speaker at a camelid conference (GALA, 2009), and wrote an article on cystitis in cats for the Purring Post (May 2012).
Dr. Stambaugh lives in the village of Pulaski with her two children Aurora and Lucas, golden-mix Luna, and three cats. She has also opened her house to foster kittens in need of a good forever home.
