Dr. Jonathan Gorman grew up in Baltimore doing animal care at his local nature center. He got a B.S. in biological sciences from Cornell University in 2016. During his undergraduate career he studied behavior in naked mole rats and hamsters. He decided to pursue veterinary medicine after studying for 6 months at a veterinary school in Argentina.
Dr. Gorman attended Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine where he actively participated in the school’s teaching dairy and in healthy pet clinics. He graduated in 2021 and has been working for North Country Veterinary Services ever since.
At NCVS Dr. Gorman does small animal office calls and procedures. He has a particular interest in ultrasound and is constantly trying to adopt new skills, including seeing more exotic patients. When he gets a chance he participates in spay and neuter clinics abroad through the organization FARVets. In his free time, Dr. Gorman enjoys running, biking, and photography amongst other hobbies.
