Dr. Oliver received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 1974 and his Veterinary degree from Cornell in 1977. He joined North Country Veterinary Service after graduating. His responsibilities within the practice include both large and small animal work, split pretty much evenly between both.

Professional affiliations include membership in The American Veterinary Medical Association (46 years); Central New York Veterinary Medical Association (past President 1991 and Treasurer 1992 – 1997); and Central New York’s regional representative to the New York State Veterinary Medical Association (1998 – 2006).

Reid and his wife, Sally, live in Pulaski.  They have two daughters, Molly, and Abby, and three grandsons. Outside interests include fishing, hunting, boating, waterskiing, and spending time with family at their camp on Lake Ontario.
