Dr. Emily Wyman grew up in Northern Michigan where she spent her time showing western performance horses in everything from 4-H, high school equestrian teams, and APHA shows. She completed her BS in Chemistry and Biology at Lake Erie College in Ohio in 2014, where she continued to ride horses for their Intercollegiate Horse Showing Association's Western Team. Dr. Wyman then moved to Colorado where she received a Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences specializing in Integrated Resource Management from Colorado State University in 2015. This prompted her to pursue livestock medicine while she completed her DVM, also at Colorado State University, in 2020. She has strong interests in all aspects of large animal medicine but likes to focus on Equine medicine performing dentistry, reproduction, general preventative care, and emergency medicine.
Dr. Wyman is married to Kevin Wyman who has a career as a Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Therapist. They recently moved to Pulaski with their 3 cats - Cornelius, Barnaby, and Seabastian - and are excited to explore the area.
